2.7 swap

I picked up 2.7 for super cheap and would like to do a swap. What all transmissions bolt to it? Will a 3.0 tranny or 2.2 work? 5 speed. Please help

No a 3.0 tranny will not work. Need a W56 with a bell housing out of a T100.

Read the article that donomite49 posted the link to. On page 2 you will find that you can use a bellhousing off of a 2tr-fe 2.7l vvti taco engine if you want to bolt a R series to the 3rz. The 2tr-fe has a R155 behind it, some posts say you need a bronze bushing in the crank instead of a pilot bearing for an early R150F or R151F transmission, but my R151F fit perfectly behind my 3rz with the stock pilot bearing.
