Got a pic with the front d/s installed? Looks like it will be close to the trans and maybe the exhaust towards the front

OMG... that is one sexy setup that you have in there.... makes me want to put one in my 2003 4runner and hook it up to a 5 speed auto.

How do you like the liquid to air intercooler so far? It looks like it has 2.5 inch inlet/outlet. Am I right?
Are you running fully stock minus the intercooler change?

I have A bit more info on pirate4x4. But yes motor is a tight fit. And MM count. Got a griffin rad from sumit-racing. Then modified the ˟˟˟˟ out of it. A wider thinner rad would have made some things a lot easier. But would have changed placement of some things.

I'll be interested to see if you have cooling issues at all. That's a pretty small radiator for the power levels that motor is capable of.

Looks damn sexy though. Sounds like it spools quick too if its making enough boost in neutral to open the BOV. Also sounds like a little compressor stall going on, time for a bigger or lighter BOV??

Yeah you should not be having compressor surge with the stock turbo on that. YOU WILL KILL THAT TURBO QUICK! Get a better diverter valve or a good BOV. And I have a 2jz swapped truck that ran a ebay turbo for a bit and I have compressor surge like you. Killed the turbo in 2 months. I recommend a synchronic BOV that is what I use.

Thanks for the heads up boys.. I made the guy buy a Greddy BOV. He has it. I told him to use it and why.. I drove the point in pritty hard as well as other points I have problems with.. He knows it will be fine and has stated he is not going to change it... I argued for hrs. I have done what I can., he chooses not to use my experience.. One look threw my mongrel fabrication face book page shows I'm not new at this.. I build drift/race cars. Lots of custom work over a wide automotive crowed.. All I can say is, I really Tryed to tell him. But I'm done fighting with him. He knows best..

I would let it happen and then charge him to fix the issue.

What transmission or adaptor did you use to make this all work for you? better wording would be how did you end up hooking this up to the 4wd system.
