Indeed, very clean, and I like how it all packs up.

 

I have to hit up Lowe's in a bit to get a hole saw and a step drill bit for my snorkel install coming up soon, I am going to hunt for one of those silver and black totes like in the first post here.

My short green Rubbermaid tote I take only when I wheel is a little small, and one of those totes can hole more.

One of my future mods which will arrive next week sometime will give me lots of storage space.

A vendor over at the big FJ Cruiser forum has developed a system for FJ Cruisers.
I am sure some of the bags will work out for many of you.

Here is what is going in my rig very soon to store additional gear.

2 pouches for the front pockets in the FJs doors.
Currently I carry Boeing first aid kits there, these will take their place.



For the rear compartment on the passenger side of the FJ this custom bag will go there.



For the rear door of the FJ this rack will reside.



On that rack you can fit two medium packs



and two large packs



and it will end up looking like this.

Some of you might inquire if they can make racks to fit other Toyotas as well.
They already do Jeeps too.

Yep, it all fits in there pretty easily. Both orange Pelican cases are First Aid/EMS supplies. I'm a paramedic so I tend to pack a lot of that type of gear. Thanks by the way.

I have a box in the bed, but id like for everything to be in the cab, just for peace of mind.

 

I picked up a couple of these bags from Harbor Freight a while back to hold all of my gear.



One for my recovery gear, one for tools, one for fluids/parts, one for bird hunting gear. I use the space under the front seat for my first aid kit, the space around the jack for the jumper cables, and the side compartment in the back for extra bottles of water and Gatorade.

 

My action packer broke after a year so i got a locking chest that fits everything and is smaller(amazing what happens when you clean)

10 or 20lb co2
4 tire inflator and deflator
extra hose for one tire.
air chucks and spare parts for the air
2 tow straps
tool kit with sockets and open ends
screwdrivers
lights and lots of them.
2 pairs of jumper cables.(comes in handy when you cant pull up next to someone)

Thats about all i carry right now cause the box filled up fast and i havent finished the can back yet. Once i get that done i have TONS of stuff to go in.

TIP for screwdrivers and pliers and dykes and stuff hit up walmart they have screwdriver kits for 3 bucks and i grab like 3 of them for my truck. and a bunch for the garage cause tools have legs!

 

I have about 5 bags full of stuff behind my yota seat, but I need to start carring stuff like shovels, and axes, and some other junk, I think I will create a bulit in box for this new yota, and get some more stuff.
Before I wasn't able to use my bed like that beacuse I had to haul my boat, now I have a trailer.

 

Saw the same boxes at Wall mart today for about $17

 

I have about six of these now.
Been getting them at Fred Meyer's for about $17 each.

All of my camping gear and grub is going into them to stack in the rear seats of the rig when they are folded down.

 

Where did you find that black box!? I want one.
