Wheel Backspacing question..

Im doing a 3" SAS on my 4runner and its time for me to buy wheels and tires. Im going w/ 35's on 15x10 wheels. With the SAS ive got the 1.5" wheel spacers to make the front axle the same width as the rear.

what do ya'll think good backspacing would be?

Stock is 4.75", with the spacers up front you'll be fine w/ stock backspacing and with the added wheel width, you'll already be 6" wider than stock (3" per side). So it all depends on how wide you want to end up:

awesome, so 4" backspacing should have no problem with rubbing then.

thanks for the quick reply

If your current tires and stock wheels work fine w/o rubbing, then anything with less backspacing should be fine. You can check clearances around your current tires to see if there is room for the larger tire. Measure out in radius 1/2 the difference in tire height and in/out from the tread edge 1/2 the difference in tire width to see.
