Uneven leaf springs

Is it common for leaf springs to be different heights? I have a set of allpro springs on my 4Runner and the passenger side is about 1.5"-2.0" lower than the drivers side. I would contact allpro but they have been no help in the past when I have tried.

Have you tried to side-swap them? Seems to work to a lot of people...

no I havent. I have a dana 44 so the perches are the same height on both sides, but I will try swapping them one day and see what happens.

I think it's due to more weight in the PS of the truck...

I just had this same issue with my TG 5" springs. My ruck was leaning to the right. I swapped the front ones first and that didn't work so I swapped the rear ones and that fixed it.

Was yours leaning in the front or rear or both? My rear seems to sit pretty level it is just the front that is leaning. I am goin to go try mine now.

its probably the weight factor, I have the TG springs and after about 6 months now they've settled a bit. I noticed a lean on the right hand side as well(passenger). I think others are right it has to do with the heavy stuff(gas tank, t-case, etc.) being located on that side.

Probably so. I will try it for a while and see waht happens. Im not sure the 4" springs are going to hold up the v8 very well anyway.

I'd recheck your mounting points as well as you might have one side off just a tad and that would affect things that much.

I have measured them several times and everything seems to be the same side to side. Hopefully they will level out when they are broken in or I may be placing an order with you.

I have the All Pro springs on my 4runner and I have the "Gangsta Lean" to the passenger side also. About 1.5" in the front and about 1" in the rear. Springs are relatively new ~4 months. Only been out about 5 times. It's fairly common.

I will see what happens. I havent flexed them or even driven with them yet so maybe it will level out.

I've got the same problem, and my springs are definitely worn in by now, my right side sits lower than the left.

I've got one thing I'm going to try while swapping but we'll see.

Hey guys, I am running AP 5" springs and my **left** side is the one that is sagging on the rear corner. I would understand if it was the right side since the gas tank is back there and all. I guess that I will try swapping the rear springs tomorrow.

Well I got my springs swapped right to left and I re-installed the overloads and it appears that there is still some sag on the left side so maybe my frame is tweaked.

Add my name to the list. I've had a pass. side lean ever since my leaves broke in. I tried swapping the springs left to right but it didn't help. I've kind of learned to ignore it.

Did you use a spring perch spacer on the driver's side front perch?
