Trail gear standard or hd springs for 2lt diesel pick up

Just about to order my 4" sas trail gear kit and rear kit for my 87 2lt diesel truck. Just can decide what springs to go with the standard ones or the hd ones. Recommendations?

Any idea how heavy the 2LT is compared to the 22RE? I don't really know the weight for either, but that may help with someone giving you advice. Also, what other gear is going on the front? Bumper? Winch?

I don't think the 2lt is much heavier than the 22re, but I will be making new bumpers kinda like the road armor one and I will be using a winch but it is going to be removable so I can use it on my winter truck too

I'm running TG 3" standard springs from their 4" SAS kit. I had a 22RE with a modified Smittybilt tube bumper with a Warn 8274 winch on it. Pretty heavy.

It took FOREVER for the springs to settle. DD on the street for over a year and maybe 6 or more wheeling trips. I have a 3.4 in it now and it didn't seem to effect it. Still sits a little high.

I don't have personal experience with the HD springs. I would call TG and ask what they recommend.

Just talked to the guys at north shore offroad today, they deal with trail gear. They had recommend going with the standard springs.
