Solid Front Axle Recommendations

I've been researching solid front axle swaps and thought I'd ask this forum what people's opinions are on the best axles and parts to use. Who sells the best complete kit? Does anyoen thing it's better to get separate parts and build up that way?

I have a 1989 regular cab truck with the 3.0 and 5 speed.

Thanks!

Get a kit. Cost is the same either way, and you have less hassle.

Check out Wabbit here on the forum. He sells good kits.

could go with a high pinion Land cruiser front maybe a air locker or elocker that would be sick, wide and strong plus then your staying toyota. and the t100 rear end is pretty nice in back.

I wouldnt go 44 cause the toy axle can be just as strong if not stonger. An 85 sa with longs would dominate the 44. want real beefy go with a dana60 or ford 9inch with that you could go with a ford 9inch high pinion rear and be set

best?

D60's or mogs, air lockers, 3 link w/ coilovers

most cost effective?

79-95 yota front axle, allpro/marlin/trail-gear kit, and a lunchbox locker or detroit.

x2 on the Ford 9" or Dana 60, as when you build those up, you'll probably never bust 'em! but yeah, if you had the $ to do it, those unimogs would be AWESOME!!!

I have a93 t100 and looking to do a sas so far i've heard the best option is a chevy dana 44 front axle which is the right width for the spring perches but not sure about the actual axle width. Any ideas out there any info would be very appreciated.
