shackles

so ive been contemplating doing an sas on my 94 runner, the plan is doing the TG 3" in the front and maybe the 4" in the rear, (ifs eliminator kit and rear springs). But i plan on only running 33's with it and i was wondering if you could get/ make a shorter shackle in the front (besides the 5") that comes in the kit, ive been reading some write ups and have heard mentions of differently shackles but not how big or if they bought em or made em. if anyone has any in put that would be great, thanks!

I think if they are much shorter in front that they would hit the body mount. Maybe a shorter set of boomerang shackles would help that problem along with some trimming of the body mount.

33s will look stupid small with even 3" springs.

Get 35s at least and use the shackles that come with your kits.

I know they will look stupid small but i don't really wanna go bigger than a 33, could i use a chevy spring or a rear OEM lift spring HD? cause i want the solid front but i don't want a high center of gravity

heres a pic of my runner, i have chevy 63s and 3 inch blocks in the rear with 37s. a 3 inch lift would be good with 35s
if you used chevy 63 inch springs in the rear with no blocks it'd PROBLY be about three.

this is my old extra cab pickup, 3 inch lift in the front and 4 in the rear. and 35s.

hope this helps! by the way those are trail-gear 3 inch springs in the front and al pro 5s in the rear but they sat leval for some reason. i bought them used so i figure they were just saggy.

I started out with the 5" shackles and redrilled them to 3 1/2" spacing. They work fine, You'll give up some travel.
