You could try cutting it off with a dremel, just be really careful and not to go into the pin.

Just cut mostly through it and it should weaken it enough to get it off. Also if you do mess it up a bit just put some jb weld on it and smooth it out.

Yes, a cut off wheel of some sort should do the trick. If you can get a light cut across the race, try hitting the groove with a cold chisel and hammer to shatter it (wear goggles).

Likely someone put in new bearings and did not check the fit of the bearing on the center pin. I always check and if the bearing will not slide easily over the pin, grab some emery cloth and clean up the pin until it will slide into the bearing. This would be the last thing you want to have happen if you have to tear an axle apart on the trail.

I had the same problem with mine. Grind a groove then hit with a chisel just like 4crawler said. works perfect. also works well on rear axle bearings...

yeah thats a no good..i cut it as far as i could without getting into the cap "i even got into it a lil bit" smacked it with a chizel about a million times heated it with a torch hit it some more...bolted it to my bumper bracket "yeah it fits lol" welded the knuckle race to it backwards so i can get some chanel locks on it and it moves....barely in a circle about 1/2 inch...smacked it a million more times...used a claw hammer to pry...friggin nothing is working
