Thanks.......The front hanger is made to mount flush directly below the factory crossmember upfront. Mine is just pushed a little forward. The shackle tubes I just torched the holes out and welded the tubes in place.

37s will fit w/RUF

I had my doubts, but they do not rub anything except the springs at full lock. I'll loose a little bit of steering but the radius was bad enough already. I can live with it considering all the benefits of the Irocks over the MTRs. Can't wait to try them out.

Yeah, still running stock pack. I'll leave them till they break or till I link it this winter.

1:In the rear I am planning to cut most or all of the bed off behind the cab, tube it and use only half of the split bench seat and center the seat. I want to keep the wheel base (104") so the portion of the leaf spring behind the axle poses a problem. Also the rear does not flex nearly as good as the front.

2: In the front, my approach angle kind of sucks because of the spring hanger. It's not as bad as it would be with front springs instead of rears up front but I would rather not take angled approaches at obsticales if I can help it. Links would be better but the rear links and cage will come first

Oh ok. Yeah, I've considered SASing my truck but I want to keep it low. 33-34" tires max. would you recommend your setup? i dont have a bodylift either, so im sure it would sit a bit lower.

Yeah, I like my set up, it's just progressing and I'm figuring out the pros and cons of it as I go. Don't get me wrong, my truck is far more capable than it was when it was IFS. I just like to tinker ( it's half the fun). This set up would be great to run 33s

sweet. Do you think I could run stock leafs with an add a leaf and stock shackle? should give just about the same lift as you have now, correct?

Oh and really not sure on the amount of lift. I guess as far as suspension it would depend on the add a leaf

makes sense. i would just need to figure out how to leaf the rear end to make it match the front... im thinking a TG rear leaf kit would be sufficient

My buddy has 63" Chevys in the rear of his and it sits the same height as mine. If I didn't want to bob mine, that's what I would do. It flexes well too.

I'm doing 63" chevy's in the back of my 4Runner. I can't wait to get rid of the stock 4 link.

Little update (build thread?)

At this point this thread maybe in the wrong section (SAS? / Build thread?) but with that said I have continued to hack away and figure out which direction I'm going with this pile. Anyway I got started on the cage and decided to go ahead and eliminate the rust in the rear body panels by simply taking the sawzall/cut off wheel/plasma to it. It's not done but I figured throw it out there and maybe get some suggestions.I've got an idea of how the back will be caged and I will be adding sheet metal around the rear passenger area from the floor/rocker up to bed rail height. Ideas are welcome though.

This is what I've got so far.

Looking good. Are you doing a cage rear? That's an interesting way to tie the exo into the Addicted bumper.
