G282 diff donor for a 88 V6 4runner SAS
Hey guys,
I'm a new Yota owner (88 V6, manual 4runner) and previous wrangler owner (89 YJ wrangler) and i gotta tell you im loving the reliability of my 1st gen, and going roofless.
Of course I've decided to SAS her after spending hours here on yotatech reading about the swap, could not resist any longer. Ive found my potential front Diff donor, She's a single cab, right hand drive, 3L engine. Im stationed in South america (Guyana) and right hand drive is pretty much the norm for our yotas.
The diff has code:
G282 and i believe comes with 4.11 gears. Im planning on going WABFAB for my SAS kit front and rear and wanted to know if i was going to run into any problems when regearing for the 35's i want to run or just in the SAS install itself.
Apreciate all the help in advance.
Eddie

You'll want a lower gear than 4.10's if your running 35's. You could get away with 4.88's but 5.29's would be best.
I would highly recommend you steer clear of WabFab. If you find some reviews for him you'll understand.
Check out Global Offroad Supply. He shouldn't have any issue getting those parts down the to SA for you.
Good luck.
