Question Dana 44 front with 10 Bolt Rear, or 1980-1985 Toyota Axle with stock rear?

I am going to do a solid axle swap on my 1986 Toyota 4x4, and I have a buddy who has full 1988 Chevy axles that are complete with 4.10s and it has a dana 44 front with the springs, and the steering, and the rear has the 63 inch springs with it. Am I better off just buying the complete IFS eliminator kit, or should I just buy the hanger for the front axle, and the shackle mount. What is more practical fullsize or standard toyota axles? Let me know what you think.
Thanks

unless the fullsize axles are passenger drop, you'll have to do a lot more modifying to get the full size front axle to work.

For ease, I'd say just get the IFS eliminator kit.

Ok well that helps alot. So, If I go ahead and buy a SAS kit how long is the xpected time to put it on. I can weld, and I know how things go together, and my dads a mechanic, so how long should it take? I am trying to judge my time to figure out when I can put my truck in the garage, because its my daily driver.

If you think you can do it in 3 days...budget 6.

Don't rush, take your time, plan ahead and you'll have a LOT less "uh-ohs".

If I'd had 3 full days with no rain to work, I could've done it in 3 full days, maybe 3.5. But I know what all is involved now that I've finished it, haha.

It took a couple weeks with all the little things that I didn't have and had to order. Oh BTW that was 2 SAS's at the same time. 1994 Extracab and a 1987 4Runner. Still waiting for the electric bill
