crossover steering tie rod ends

Gathering parts for my sas on a 86 pickup. Extreme budget. Just ordered some used trail gear high steer arms. I read the fj80 are very common tie rod ends but the stocks are cheaper. The steering will probably be a junk yard build. I am wondering if the hole in the high steer arms will fit the factory tie rod ends or are the fj80's thicker?

Making my own with either round bar or tubing threaded. So the stock arms fit , they have to be drilled out for the 80 tre?

No the T-G arms are tapered for the 80 series TRE.
Try putting a stock TRE in the trail gear arm and I bet it is smaller.
You have left and right threaded taps or just gonna cut the ends off stock tie rods and weld those to your bar stock? Or finding the correct threaded bungs?

Most likely will have access to both taps. If not, what would the issue be with both ends being right hand taps?

So you don't have to remove the TREs every time you want to do an alignment. Just twist the link tube to shorten/lengthen it.
