Thought I was. Haha. I checked the pirate toyota faq, found this.

 

My guess would be 84 or 85 because it looks like it has the long gusset

 

The auto hubs started in 1984 so it has to at least be an 84, congrats, those are some sought after axles. To convert it is pretty easy, remove the auto hubs, remove the clutch, remove the 54 mm nut, put in a flat washer against the wheel bearing, install 54 mm nut and torque, install lock washer, install 2nd 54mm nut, torque and lock it in with the lock washer, then install your manual hub, Pretty simple.

 

Sweet. That's cool to know. Got for 200. Not bad.
