i killed the motor in my 80 4x4 so im gonna sas my 90 and put a 4.3 gm motor in it.im also gonna ditch the auto trans in my 90 for the 5 speed in the 80.what all will i need from the 80 to do this.trans,diff,springs,hangers,front drive shaft.im guessin ill need these things for sure.will the clutch pedal and clutch master cylinder work in my 90?will i have to modify the floor of my 90 to fit this trans?thanks in advance guys!!

 

I believe they 81s and older had a different bell housing, but I could be mistaken. I would do some searching on that before you waste your time.

 

SAS kit and rear lift kit will save you a lot of headaches.

ive got a friend of mine sellin a 5-speed with dual cases and the special bellhousing for the 4.3 already on it for $800.does that sound like a good deal.hes gonna throw in the clutch and pressure plate,all the hydraulics and the cross menber
