'69 fj40 retro to centered e-locker diff

I am new to this site and in need of some technical assistance. I am in the middle of a 1969 FJ40 conversion from original gas motor to a 2.4L EFI Turbo Diesel with a 43L5 automatic 4WD trans/transfer driveline. The original rear differential is offset to the passenger side 5 7/8" and is limited slip differential. The new driveline is centered in the frame (tail section with output yoke) so I need to remedy this. The original gear is 4.11 front & rear, the front diff lines up with the output from the transmission and I will only need to extend the auto trans drive shaft that came with the driveline from Japan. Now my question : I have researched the internet for information concerning rear axel swaps bu each site I visit gives differing information about OEM Toyota axels. The FJ40 has a 55.6", axel face to axel face, overall measurement & 38.5" spring perch to spring perch axel. I need a centered pinion shaft input and would like it to be an E-Locker if possible. Through reasearch I was told the 1979 to 1985 4 Runner and 1986 to 1995.5 would fit the Fj40 leaf spring installation. Can anyone please answer for me the best way to get this axel situation solved this side of cutting the original housing down 5 7/8 " (left - driver side) and adding 5 7/8" to the other side (right - passenger side), replacing the right side axel with another left side axel, sending the axels out to be cut 5 7/8" and resplined, but I don't end up with a locker so I would have to install a Detroit locker too. I would hope there is an OEM complete axel that would cure my problem and this 2 week headache I've had trying to solve this on my own. Your assistane would be gratly appreciated, thank you ahead of time.

You don't need to replace your rear axle, you can run it with the driveshaft offset. I have an upside-down FZJ80 rear end in my '87 4Runner, I just used a CV driveshaft and pointed the pinion at the output flange. Works great on and off road, I've had it doing 80mph on the freeway, no issues.
