Me and my friend have slowly been doing this for about 2 weeks. I had to buy an 85' axle for $200, Pro Comp 4" lift springs for $60 each, rear gears to match the front $60, a Trailgear spring hanger kit $190, and a U-bolt flip kit for $80
This all started the day after Christmas when my truck broke down at 3 in the morning and I had to get it towed... long night! I was going to have to get new ball joints, rotors, and a sway bar. While my friends dad was checking it out we just thought that a few extra bucks would be worth the swap, so we started.
About a week ago his garage burnt down in the middle of the night so that really slowed down the project... he lost thousands of dollars of tools so we had to use my few and some friends.
