YotatechTour '06 - Washington

Ok guys,
So I will be arriving in Auburn on Friday the 25th and will be available until Monday the 28th. I don't know how far everyone is but for those that are in the immediate area that wanted to come together for a preliminary meet and greet dinner on Friday that would be a good idea. If someone has a big back yard and BBQ we could do it at someone's house or if the group would rather meet at a restaurant that would be great too. It might be a good idea to have a backup restaurant just incase the weather is bad also. Then there is the question on where we should hit the trail? You guys know all the best places so post em up and we will all decide as a group where we end up. Let's hear it guys!

Which month?
Many eateries around here.
I only hope I have a rig by then.

Greenwater has an excellent loop trail we do off of forest service road 72.
At the top most part of it is a grand view of Mt. Rainier.

Here is an old trip showing some good pics.

Yay! Ben's here!

I'd vote Evan's Creek... Mud, trees, gorgeous views, decent challenges here & there... Should make for great DVD material.

I would definitely be down if the work schedule falls right.

Austin, I may not have my FJ still by August 25th.
I am getting fed a load of crap from my dealer about my order that I do not wanna go into right now.

Goin' hunting this weekend for another dealership to order one, and I may not have one until next September.
Heck, I might as well get an '08 model.

Awesome,
Thanks Ben! As stated in the other threads, I think the best shooting schedule will be have one day be primarily for interviews and another day (or two) for shooting the trucks etc.

Corey,
Damn man, I'm sorry to hear that! I have a friend that just got her Civic SI 8 months after putting in her first order with the first dealership. What is going on with dealerships and ordering cars these days?

That's a busy weekend for me already, so it depends upon what the plan is.

Anyone willing to adopt a Georgian for the weekend if I'm in Seattle in August?

I will be able to pick you up in seattle as I will be spending a night there. Only problem is getting you back... If you have access to a car we could drive together though I won't be going over 80 b/c after 70 my mpgs go through the floor b/c the turbo has to stay spooled to keep this short-bus at speed If you need a place to stay I will have plenty of room in my SUV tent for you to crash but no promises on what you will be sleeping on so a sleeping pad would be a must...
