Lets get something rolling!
Where?
When?
What kind of trails?
Multiple trails?
Multiple Days?
Any ideas?

Josh,

You know, I'd love to do a Mexico trip. Maybe we should ask Baja Taco to give us some insight.

Pismo4RJ II is going to be planned again soon come May or summer months. Need to talk w/ Steve about this.

Mikey (wifesaysimadumbass) had a good idea about having it out at Superstition.
Having it on the same weekend as the canceled Jambo, March 20-21 sounds pretty logical.

Someone actually tossed the idea of hungry valley during the same weekend.

Hungry Valley is good as this way we can get all the 4x2's out to join us with no worries of not being able to have some fun. The last time you guys organized a run, I noticed there was quite abit of 4x2's there anyway! The more adventurous members can hit up Miller Jeep Trail or something HV is pretty large and has lots of different environment for everyone of all skill level.

Hungry Valley also works for the central and norcal members to drive down for the weekend too!

But then again, Mexico does sound pretty cool

I'm open for anything!!!

I would love to see something new to me, but not impossible for an unlifted rig.

I keep hearing those guys down south talk about carveacre...

Carveacre is a short, but very fun trail here in San Diego. We like it because it is very close and only takes about 2 hours to do. Not any place for a Jambo.

As far as Hungry Valley goes, I have seen the pics, and am not too interested in going there--even with miller jeep trail.

I think the Anza Borrego area/Superstitions have much more varried terrain. Still areas for the 4x2, but tons for the 4x4's.

Another suggestion by Jason (Demello Offroad)...

Joshua Tree? Versatile location that doesn't require any insurance and no problems from the Rangers. The location has lots of terrain for 4x4,4x2's and even some crazy mosters!

I'll do the sand dune thing again, although my truck is really built for something entirely different.

When are you weenies going to come to Arizona?

Joshua Tree?? Not known for 4xing. It is a National Park, and I have not heard about trails there. I camp there almost every year.I am sure there are some trails out in the Yucca Valley area, but that is really close to Johnson Valley.

Maybe Death Valley would be another option--closer for Steve and other Zonians

As long as you have trails where we don't have to drag a stock bumper over crap to get through, or bury the stock front bumper coming off a rock. I wasn't sure I was ready for AZ since I do have the stock bumpers front/rear.

I would be up for an Arizona trip or even Death Valley. Although it seems Death Valley wouldn't have us at a base camp of some sorts. Unless we are all looking for a multi-day backcountry trip

Otherwise I am up for AZ or central CA. As long as we can do some stock friendly stuff.

I'll take you to places that you won't damage anything. I know what trails will tweek things and which will not. Also we can "stack rocks" and get you over stuff with no scrapeing.

You just say how hard you want it or how easy, no problem.

Also camoing in AZ is typically very quite at night.
