well.. at my bros, we measured for the sliders. i found all 6 piping so i will get this done. suspension and locker are going in. I will take pics of everything for people to benefit from who havent done a suspension setup before. locker pics will come too depending how long I help out on the install. my bro will pic me up to go cut the pipes down to put the sliders in further to accomodate everything, got some bed liner spray so im gonna use that to coat it.

If there is space for me in the cabin, if not im gonna setup my runners bed area to put my sleeping bag in.

There should be room in the cabin, one has already dropped out, and now Justin is camping, so it should be fine. So whats your name?

Ryker (me) & my nephew Tyler should be pulling in Friday morning/early afternoon. It's about a 8 hour trip towing the 4Runner for us. We will have to head back Sunday by 2pm since he starts school Monday morning. So I figure we'll have Fri. afternoon, all day Sat. then Sun. morning to wheel.

I'll be towing this:

who is riding with who? on Friday? I am pretty capable with being locked f+r and dual tranny's (208:1 low range) and I don't give a rats ass about damage.

We just figured it out when we got there last time. Probably ride the easier trails the first day since everyone will want to dive their own vehicles. Then just kind of play it by ear & see who wants to do what. Even though I have the 30 splines now I will still not be able to do some of the harder stuff since I have no cage or winch.

Here's a map of the trail system if anyone wants to print it & have it for the weekend.

A map to the trail head & cabins:

I hope to get to Tellico by 2 or 3 if it takes the 6 hours mapquest says it will (doubtful). I have me (Rob) and 1 passenger (Michael)...It doesnt matter when we do Slickrock (either Fri or Sat)....winch is in working order if anyone needs a pull....I just can't wait to be back in Tellico, a great way to begin and end summer

Got some probs to work out. My engine is running like crap. I should have known better than to take it to a mechanic & do the work myself. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Now I have to find what he mucked up & fix it. It was running fine before I had him do some minor work.

Rant off.

couplers? I think all you need is the center pieces and the pins and springs. I am pretty sure that is all I got in mine and it is installed and tested and works awesome.

Awesome Greg you'll prolly beat me there, I'll call Tellico Cabins and see if they'll give you the keys to the cabin so your not stuck around waiting on Rob and I. If not then we'll be there around 2 or 3, then we can HIT THE TRAILS.

Wow it really is crunch time for you guys, the worst I might have to do is drill some new holes in my skids.

Well I have to replace my spark plug wire(s). He didn't loom them back the way they were to clear the header & one (that I see) got burnt & is arcing out. I hope I can just replace the one, should be good to go then.

Well one thing's for sure, if I run it like this I wont break anything! It has lost a lot of power with the cylinder not working. Every now & then the spark will ignite & I get all 8 working, it roars back to life & throws me back in the seat like normal. I hope to have this fixed tonight or tomorrow. Then I'll be back to this:

I can leave at noon on Friday and be there around 3 if you think you'll be there around that time.
