Driveshaft installed! Jess told me I didn't need the companion flange with my setup. I have a cylinder that's gonna need a quick check, but other than that I am good to go.

 

Doc there's always room for you my friend, and LEon is more than welcome as well. There's a no pets rule, but I'm also not supposed to have more than 6 people in there, and I passed that limit a long time back, so just slide on by. I can't wait to see your new rig and kick back a cold one with ya.

 

I'm off to URE with Harold for a shake down run tomorrow bright an early. Wish me luck, last time in URE was more expensive than any Tellico trip I've had, LOL.

Better be careful overloading the cabin and breaking their rules...or you might find yourself on the long end of a short stick monetarily. The Tellico Cabin rules are pretty clear, but you are old enough to do as you wish. Just a friendly reminder.

well if I cant find the other three pieces of pipe to my slider my brother assured me of a metal shop that we can get some made from for cheap.. my brother does some really good welding so he assured me we will get everything done prob tomorrow. for sliders.. lift and locker are going to be done by clemson4x4 on monday... then school starts thursday and I haze the freshman like I got hazed at the citadel lol

Hey Scott it was nice meeting you today and I enjoyed the wheeling eventhough it was more like mud slinging. Just remember "Hummers Suck" or atleast that is what that "fellar" said!

 

I'm coming with my son (8 yrs old). We have a large panel van with bed's but if people fall off list for cabin...I assume it's air conditioned?. We'd be glad to chip in

 

Yup, it's got A/C and Sat. TV, so you guys are more than welcome to eat and party with us every night. I never really made a set list of who's in my cabin, and who called it first. Based on past experiance, I just never count on anyone until they show up at the door step. As long as my dad and I have a bed, then the rest are negotiable.

Yeah I had a great time wheel'n with you and that fella as well. Sorry we didn't really get to test out that locker on any rocks, the damn mud got in the way of everything. You didn't really miss anything after you left, we ran one more trail with a nice long hill climb. Hopefully it starys dry in Tellico and we can get around w/o the slop.

I think I might have another couple guys going. gtrobb IS going. He will be coming up on Friday afternoon. He is bringing my passenger(my girlfriend ) on Friday. xtoy-boy35 might be going...he will let me know asap. Also DAWGTOY might be going, there is a problem if he goes(possibly) he is handicapped(and needs adaquate facilitys) I told him that he could have my spot in the cabin(if it was still available). I am prob gonna camp out @ the cabin on Thurs. night and then possibly go to Crawfords and camp there on Fri. and Sat. night. If it is OK I was going to see if I could leave my 'runner @ the cabin overnight on Fri/ Sat so I don't have to trailer it back and forth from Crawfords

I will have a "fun" seat on Friday for someone to ride...BYOH(bring your own helmet )

 

There is a lot just down the hill from the cabin about 200 feet if I remember correctly. I will have my rig parked there at night too because my brakes suck & that hill is STEEP!

 

I just haven't determined what I am doing or where I am staying. I just know that I am going to maul my 'runner. I just hope it survives another demolishion derby. I will have a set of marfields(I hope I don't have to install) and a new(to me 20r to put in when I get back)

 

You can stay wherever you like and your all more than welcome to park your rigs outside the cabin, I know how much of a PIA getting your rigs back and forth. There are enough people who are very flexible about sleeping conditions. I just hope it's dry, URE was a mess and less fun than it usually is b/c it was soooooo wet.

I really want to ride along with someone on the "fun" trails, Rob and I might just have to take on Slickrock Friday to free up a Saturday run with the big boys.

Ok guys can I get a roll call for the trip, basiclly I want to see who's coming and more importantly attempt to learn names. I want to try and avoid the awkward screen name intorductions, LOL.

I'm Justin---I'll be cruisin in on Thursday evening, I'll be driving a White '95 Cummins 3500 pullin' what are the remains of a Gold '91 4'runner(it has no back, doors, fenders, grill, headlights(they were removed last weekend at Harlan)) It has plenty of dents If possible, I'd like to ride in a group that has a winch. I hardly ever need one, but the security would be nice

 

I am in and I will be bringing four guys with me. I will have my 4Runner one of the guys will have a pretty nice 04 DC Tacoma (Matt) lifted, locked and on 285's. The other guy has a TJ on 35's ( Derek)). The other two guys will be passengers. I am excited but I really hope it is dry. I am not sure what time we will be arriving since this is my first time going but I know we are leaving around 11am.

 

I forgot...my buddy from ncttora.com is coming on Friday. gtrobb(Grant) he will be coming up on Friday afternoon. (he will be bringing my weekend passenger:girlfriend)

I also hope to have another guy coming...see 5-6 posts up.
