I joined about November. I didn't go to the last meeting but have been to the other two and the two runs we've had (Toys for Tots and Cleghorn). I missed this last run to Gold mountain as well because of work.

I was totally planning on being there, but some recent medical/financial issues made it get bumped down the priority list. Hopefully, I can get there next year, and maybe by then, my rig will finally be armored to a point I can feel comfy on more than moderate terrain...

Oh, I'd so be there if I had known about it before! I've got plans and my truck isn't in a condition to wheel yet and there isn't enough time to get it together.... Bummer.

Have fun!

We do this every year.... this year is at Pismo Beach! The events dates are May 16-18, 2008. The cost is $40(early registration) per family $50 after March 1st. Those wishing to come early or stay late will need to pay $10 a night extra.

We have found a unique spot in the foothills of California's coastal range. It is a Christian family camp called Camp Maddux. We will have 5+ acers of camping in one of the most beautiful settings around. We will be just 10 minutes to hotels and shopping and 20 minutes to the beach (Oceano Dunes) and 20 minutes to the mountains to wheel.
