I was with that group of guys from SNORT for the beginning of the run, before a guy leaving advised me that my IIFS rig shouldn't try to play with them where they were going. I wisley took his advise, and instead made the venture up Lake Isabelle. Just past the rock ledge (which is pretty near the beginning by the river) is when the snow started. WE made it quit a ways, with no problems, but the snow had weighed tree branches down to the point that we wouldn't drive through them, and didn't have a saw. Anyone who cares about their paint would have back out way before we did, but I was up there with my buddy and his 85 dual ARB'd rig, and paint aint an issue to us, so we pressed on until we couldn't no more. So we stopped, enjoyed lunch in the beautiful snowy Mts, and headed back down.
KevyWevy: TO answer your Q, yes there is snow, though it starts at the top of the power line area on up (including the wall which is now inaccesable)

I definitely want to do some wheeling this weekend. I am heading out to Walker Valley on Monday for sure, but I would like to do some wheeling out at Tahuya State Forest since it has been forever since I have been there. Any other ideas for a place? I want to get my new tires into some dirt and mud!

Okay so where do you guys want to wheel at? It looks like we will have a few rigs. I was thinking Reiter, but the last time that I was there the Index Wall trail? was bulldozed. I haven't been to Evans Creek in a long time, but I am sure that there is a bunch of snow out there by now. Anyone else?

Crash,
All our IFS rigs might slow you down a bit I think! Only if you promised to hold our hands

Cool, so what say we all head to the Kitsap Peninsula to go wheel at Tahuya State Forest then on Sat or Sunday? No matter where I go except for Walker Valley it is a long drive for me coming from Whidbey Island. I bet it will be nice and muddy there at Tahuya!
