uwharrie rocked
just got back from 4 days at uwharrie, it was one of the better wheein trips ive done in a while. I did run into the rest of the crew from the NC 4ROC group, but just passing each other on the trails. WE ran everything the park had to offer, i ran everything except the kodak rock obstacle, including the right hand line on daniel and all of the rock garden below kodak. We had my 4runner, 2 tacos, 2 CJ's, 1 jimmy, 1 ranger and a trail duster. every one suffered damage of some sort, i ended up with a bashed rear bumper( time to fab a new one). other carnage included numerous driveshaft u-joints, and the trail duster tore his steering box from the frame. i should have some pics up in the next day or so, as i ended up with around 130 pics and video clips in 4 days of wheelin. the definate highlight of the trip was seeing GOLIATH. for those of you that dont know, goliath used to belong to hollywood, a member of pirates of the rubicon. Its not to offen you see an actual pirate jeep, let alone get to touch it and sit in it, especially on the east coast. heres some info on it.http://www.pirate4x4.com/timbo/hollywood/dave.htm
