Tinkham: We made the summit!
Finally! After weeks of trying, the moonlight wheeler types made the summit of Tinkham
It took some winching and a bunch of digging, but we were the first to the summit this year and had a small campfire with really wet wood in celebration.
There were a lot of cameras floating around, so I am betting the pictures will start to roll in on Wednesday.
Now on to the next challenge...

Oh boy oh boy my first run in 3 years
It was great to meet everybody and test out my lift and tires. My driving obviously needs some practice though
At least no body damage occurred before I can get some sliders on there!
Here are some pics to start out:
Heading up.
And we get to the fun fun hill climb
A shot of KevyWevy going up.

...and the rest of my hill climb pics turned out too dark... ugh..
Nice lineup:
And a very nice sunset while we were up there:

The snow bank I see and read so much about:
...becomes a lot easier with a few shovels put into it.

And right after that.. woohoo! the summit:
Now that's how you fan the flames:

That's cool Rob. What do you mean by making it to the summit? I have been up there a bunch of times a while ago, and don't recall a summit. Maybe I didn't make the right turn or something. I do remember some dead end roads. Do you have a GPS track or even a waypoint of the summit?

That ROCKED!
It was a sloppy hill climb this week due to the rain and open diff guys
but everyone made it one way or the other....
There was lightning to the south and lightning to the north as we held our flashlights high in celebration of the summit
There is something strange about standing on the highest peak to watch lightning

I might have a GPS trace somewhere, but wouldn't that take all the fun out of the exploration?

That was very cool making it to the summit last night. That view is amazing and I special ordered that beautiful sunset for us.
Hopefully Mark will be posting my pics tomorrow (if he will be so kind), so everyone can see all the fools with their snow shovels, and that guy with the bottle of lighter fluid.
