Sounds good, i've got the running boards, front spoiler and rear bumper pieces off. I ordered a rear bumper but I don't think it will be in on time so i'll run it with just the steel bracket pieces sticking out. Sounds like fun...!!!

This will be a good run. Carveacre is always a good time.

Makenna and I will try to make breakfast too.

After looking at my front suspension today I think we should do an episode of "Overhaulin" Yotatech style, and SAS Rover!!!

Marc have you had a chance to see if you damaged the torsion bar in front?

BTW if you do SAS rover I would gladly be up for helping out. Not that I would have a clue what to do.

Damage is to the upper control arm on drivers side--bushing is destroyed, the bolt that is supposed to be centered is resting on the bottom..pushing the contol arm up and causing the lean.

I have ordered the Energy Suspension bushing kit, but it is a big job.

I have been hearing some funny sounds from my front lately alsoa nd think it is time for some new upper and lower a-arm bushings here also. Not so sure I want to to Poly though. Yes they are stiff and really strong but they squeek like crazy. Have you heard Bruce's? Yes rubber is an inferior material but it is quiet and if it will last for 5 years....

Your thoughts?

Not sure what I am going to do. I ordered the Energy stuff because I get it cheap through work, but I dont want to put a bunch of money into it because at some point it will all be cut off.

AHA Marc you have finally decide to accept what i named your truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love it you know you can't resist the dark side.... it is your destiny..... you guys and your funny sounds.... Upgrade your stereo....... and wait till something breaks. i think i noticed a crack in one of the main leafs in my front spring pack..... (probably from the unintended 3 foot jump at superstition).... but unless the whole pack breaks it's just one leaf beside i can only see a kinda crack on one side it does'nt seem to go all the way through the leaf

My cutting torch should do the trick! Let me know when and where. Between that and about 20 grinding wheels that IFS will drop like a rock.

This job is in my destiny. Where'd you get the kit? I've been dreading this after hearing that I'll need to find a multi ton press for the bushings. One of these days I'll actually get out with you guys.

Just got the message. I'll bring them to the run. I just tested them with my 3/4" greasable bolts and they fit like a glove. We can switch out your OEM's at some point. Sounds like a wrenching party to me.

Big Job is an understatement. Way back when I went to have that done. You have to retain the metal sleev around the stock rubber bushing. They don't sell new ones and it is necessary. They vulcanized the rubber on to that sleeze so you have to burn them off (P.I.T.A.) If you try to pry them your just gonna screw em up. At least that is what Protrux told me. If you want, I can see if they have a set of factory upper arms, might be easier just to swap in some new stockers with good bushings.
