Physically "dual cases" are a case and a half.

Gearing wise, "dual cases" are three stockers.

If you twin stick the back case, you have lots of choices, and yes, Steve you will screw this up in the buggy. You always screw it up in my truck too.

I'm 2.28 in both cases. or case and a half, or case and crawler box... whatever. My crawl ratio will be 100:1 with 4.88's. 4.7 gears in the rear case would be like $500 and then I still only have 2 gearing options. The driveshaft shop said they'll be done tomorrow afternoon, so after all the welding is done on the other mods, I'll throw in the driveshafts and take it for a spin. Hope all this junk I've put in my junk, magically combines without a hitch, or Wed. is gonna be a long day.

My truck isn't as nice as most of you guys' rigs, I just need the ability to hang with the dudes on 35's and 37's.

No matter how bad it could be, at least you have a rig...

Thanks I'll be calling around every shop tomorrow. I hope I can find one.

Got my STC top in today, like I don't have enough to do, so that is going on tomorrow. Sliders got welded on tonight, just got home, got 2 shock mounts fabbed for the front, didn't get to the rear.

If I can find a wheel I think I'll be ready just in time.
I'm still unsure of the exact backspacing I need for my setup. Does anybody know how I measure the wheel I have now to know for sure?

What time does everyone plan to ride on Friday? Because of some issues I’m having with my 5 speed swap and some other things I may have to come up early Friday morning so I just wanted to know what time I needed to be there to get in on the ride.

I wouldn't expect anything stirring before 9 a.m. Greg.

Finally...run the 12v wire to the battery and pick up custom length air hose tomorrow and "Houston, we'll have lockers." I either got to get an ARB compressor switch or figure out the prongs on the one I got...

Hi ya'll!
Just started thinking about what I need to do to the truck... You know, as in I can't sleep. Too much to do but will get some of it done and be there.
My Taco has 4.7s and dual cases so if anyone wants to try it out, you are welcome to. It still makes me giggle in "silly slow".
Look forward to meeting you guys. Mike, Kyle and Paul are the only ones I've met so far, I think. Please introduce yourself when you see me and the kids.
See ya thurs night!
Bud

I'm definatley going to take you up on that offer to toy around with your cases, very interesting concept to me. Can't wait to finally meet the man that plated up a good portion of us for the trip.

Will do. Wednesday is the plan for me, unless I run into any unforseen issues.

Guys, I'll be there in Thursday at the earliest, because we've still got to much work on the Ranger to get done before this trip. I'd love to be there earlier, but I don't see it happening, unfortunately.
