You'd better work it out in a hurry or you won't have a place to sleep regardless.

Yeah dude try to make it up there, it'll be good to see ya, and your new rig it's been about 2 years since our last trip together.

Well I'm sure I can find a seat in someone's Runner for the FUN stuff. Even though riding in Marc's rig is the most fun I've had, I love his GO HARD OR GO HOME style.

Talking

Finally, this thread is coming to life.

I went to look at an FJ today and must say I was NOT impressed. It’s a shame Toyota can’t bring something to market worthy of the FJ name.

I’m more than likely getting a 91 pickup that a friend started a SAS on and decided he wanted a 4Runner. I’ll know Saturday if it’s mine or not.

Brady's buddy has a 81 (I think) truck that isn't running right now but would sell for $500 or so... comes with a TON of extra parts off another truck. I'll take some pictures as its parked around the block from my apartment if anyone is interested... It would be a great trail rig!

Sounds kinda "Brokeback" Scott

It is hard to believe it has been that long already! It really sounds like an awesome trip! I wish I had something to wheel, we have a comanche truck and a Samurai sitting in the garage at my parents house but neither are tellico material. The samurai was originally supposed to be a builder for me and my dad but it is really too nice to cut up and I kinda lost interest in it when I bought a boat last month and started doing all of the maintenance stuff the previous owner neglected.

Time and money is always against me. I would love to have a dedicated wheeler but it is hard to justify sinking a bunch of money (right now) into something that I will realistically only use a few times a year. After this boat is done and sold I should clear enough to finish paying off the taco and then anything goes.

Believe me, I'm thinking about it... Its pretty crazy to think that I could buy a truck, or get a chip for the Ex... Espcially now that the BMW is going to be put on hold until summer. That and all this talk about wheeling has given me the bug. Also check the OT section tonight, I'm going to be announcing my senior project proposal and having my own rig would be ideal. We shal see...

Has anyone given any thought to making a DVD of this event? Someone with a recorder & video editor? Just a thought.

Hello all,

Just signed myself and a guest up for the event. Looking forward to meeting all of you and seeing everybody's rigs in action.. I'll be driving my 88 Runner with a brand new set of Pro Comp 33's and some sort of locker (still on the fence as to which one).

Awesome glad to have you aboard, your rig sounds awesome, a SC'd 3.4 in an 88, that's SWEEET. This trip just keeps getting better and better. And closer, so much to do in such little time.

Selig!
Glad to hear you are going to make it again this year.
I would be interested in a DVD of last year and another one of this year!

A SCd 88 runner is going ? That will be nice to see.

Get a windshield in that rig and get it up there Mark how bad is the damage?

Damage isn't too bad. Still on the hunt...just not ready to throw down $200+ for a new one yet.

I wont clutter this post...but I will definitely be there I got enough 4Runner's that I will should be there without any vehicle excuses.
