Brett,
Monica is coming and won't ride the trails. I will only drive my rig on Friday.
I may ride on Saturday or stay in camp with the girls - to be decided.
I hate the crowded trails ! I do love the camping / fire pit thing though
We may have a day care on Saturday - we are grandparents !

good map for reference. i'd suggest printing it and possibly studying it some so you know where you are on the trails. i'm going to try to get some printed and laminate to bring with me, but no promises - you need to print your own just in case.

Also for reference,
Trail 1 is a dirt road
4,5,6 are doable for anyone with a spotter with 6 having the most obstacles of these
8 is doable for just about anyone providing the mudhole is fixed, if not, you can do the other side of 8 and stop at where Slickrock ends, watch Slickrock, turn around and then come back down 8
3 really has almost no obstacles and is easy until the point where it connects with 11, at this point there is about 100 feet that is only doable by the most extreme rigs, this is known as "Pinchrock"
7 is known as "Peckerwood" and is a huge ledge that I have not seen, but have talked to some guys with buggies that were scared of it
9 is "Slickrock", pretty extreme, but doable by a lot of us, requirements should be at least a rear locker, 33's would be good but has been done on 32's, winch would also be good but we have plenty of those in the group, body damage and cv axle breakage possible
11 is Guardrail and Helicopter Pad, both are very extreme with a high risk of a rollover, they do have bypasses with the Guadrail bypass being very tight with body damage likely, the trail just getting to Guardrail is very tough, the bypass on Helipad is easy, but if you go up this trail your only option for getting back down are to come down Helipad and Guardrail, or down trail 12 -Schoolbus
12 is Schoolbus and is also very extreme, many ledges and places for broken rear windows and body damage, rear locker and 33's a minimum, front locker would be good if you are going up the trail as would a winch
2 is broken into two sections-lower and upper, lower 2 is the "Rockgarden" and maybe the most extreme trail there, upper 2 I have not seen but from pictures it seems to be somewhat like schoolbus but harder with body damage more likely
Hope this helps!

Okay, Brian, I'll send a check to you tomorrow. My roommate agreed to tow the 4runner down there in exchange for a few hours of drivetime. We should be down thursday night around 9. I want to get there sooner so I don't have to set up a tent in the dark and meet some of you guys, but I can a only leave when the trailer does. As of right now, Its me(Mike), my roommate(Cory) and maybe a friend with a stock 01 runner but he'll most likely back out. Thanks again for including me on this trip. should be a rocking good time.

one more thing. if anyone is leaving on thursday from Richmond, or the surrounding areas and would like to caravan down to Tellico, PM me and let me know your situation. Also, if need be, I might be able to lead a group on Sat. I've never done it before, but I'm willing to give it a shot.

I've never been to Tellico, I've also have never led on a trail ride. I'll offer my services, which are not many, to help anyway I can. I'll be wheeling Friday, Saturday, and the first half of Sunday, provided everything still works on Sunday. If I can help at all let me know. I do want pics of myself though... Hmm, anybody want to take turns leading a group on Sat?
