THIS GOES OUT AS A WARNING!
Anyone he feels the need to do Guardrail or Peckerwood must have a cage. No if and buts about it. It's not worth your life or serious injury if you roll on the Guardrail.
Also for the ones that are dual locked and don't mind damage feel free to take on Upper 2 from the bottom. You can come from the top but is very tippy and will put you in the wall.

I will agree with that.

I don't really want body damage, a scrape or small dent is ok, but busting a window or rolling is something I'll pass on.
If I chicken out, I've already called shotgun in Marc's '85 for the hard day!

Good Morning Rednecks.......
Welcome to 2002.

Another turning point
A fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist
Directs you where to go
So make the best of this test
And don’t ask why
It’s not a question
But a lesson learned in time
It’s something unpredictable
But in the end is right
I hope you had the time of your life
So take the photographs
And still frames in your mind
Hang it on a shelf of
Good health and good time
Tattoos of memories
And dead skin on trial
For what it’s worth
It was worth all the while
It’s something unpredictable
But in the end is right
I hope you had the time of your life
It’s something unpredictable
But in the end is right

As far as hard trails go. Lets go as far as we can safely and if we reach a point that we need to turn around, we will turn around.
That is what we do in Arizona.
Welcome to 2002.

To answer everyone's question, I've been right up against the ledge at peckerwood in my 4runner, looked at it long and hard, and quite frankly I could barely get up to it. The sand is so lomy, and the way it's shaped now, it's dangerous and much higher than before. It's shaped like this /\ with the high ledge on the right and the soft mud/sand on the left. So, you try to straddle the gap, but it's not enough pressure into the sand to keep you there, and you get half way up and slip off and slam your truck into the embankment. I'm game to spot folks up to it, give them the right line, but I think there's a less than 1% change any of the rigs make it. Let's do it!
In regards to running heli pad, I think a roll cage would be smart, but it's doable with a good spotter and a good driver. The problem lies when either the spotter sucks or the driver won't listen to a good spotter. I'm only worried about the last one, because I know we'll have some good spotters there. But, I also think it would be best to have someone that's run it before be the spotter.

I don't care who you are, that right there is FUNNY!
Have a good time. Don't break stuff and listen to Steve. He has spotted me across the surface of the sun and I would let him do it again.
