That baja bug in the pic made it down, barely. It scraped about 10' of the trail on its belly with the rear right and front left tire hangin in the wind.

All that only took about 20min, for him to get down. Let me know what day you're thinking of and I'll try to get there.

So after I make several attempts,we get by that, and there is a very deep rut we must drop into, because it's to unstable to straddle. I made it with some slight scrapage and .5" clearance on driver side going up. Marc wasn't so lucky. He started to lose traction, and his rear end rotated him so that his driver side bumper, light, and fender were all pointed at the side of the wall. So now there is no more backing up for him! Unfortunately going forward was out as well due to no traction to be had on the loose climb out of the rut.
starting to spin-
What he was now positioned to back into-
We got him out of there and I had some time to pose the new bumper in front of an audience. Plus there are new scrapes on the bottom right corner that I can call my own

so I had to keep a piece of it in service in San Diego. The rest of it went mostly to NorCal.

I havent been stuck like that in a loooong time. We need to do some trail maintenance up there so we can enjoy it instead of fearing it.
