San Diego-local trip on Sunday 8/1

Just a shout out to any of the SD crew, Marc and I will be running carvacre on this Sun morn, meeting at 9am near the trail. I think Mikey is gonna make it also, none of us ever made the last trip up there. So here is the makeup trip, basically Marc isnt going to BB next week and is fiending to check out the difference w/the spacers he added. I kinda want to make it to the top of Pancake rock this time. So now I have 2 run postings up at the same time. neat.

I guess we should meet on the shoulder of Japatul Valley Rd--just after the exit ramp to your right. Probably 9am should be early enough.

He drove the last 1/4 of the trail with a flat. he destroyed his tire and dinged his rim pretty good, but he made to the road--from there I drove him home so he could arrange a tire. The trail was pretty rough on us today--Steve blew out his tire, I blew both of my inner CV boots, and Rob lst the covers to his Lightforce lights.
