I may be able to get away for a Sunday day trip in Oct. The month is pretty busy so far.

I drove my runner for the first time today in a week. I bought a little commuter VW to run around in. The gas prices are killing me.

Yea, Ill be done by November. I've got alot going on right now that is slowing me down getting it trail ready. I've already put about 1000 miles on the 'Runner with the SAS.
Gas prices are killing me as well. Im thinking about picking up a dual sport bike.
See you guys in November!

Dude, you gotta have a seperate commuter nowadays. I bought my runner cuz it got good mileage for an offroader/Daily Driver, but 18-20 ain't cutting it anymore.

I got the hellica and I save my runner miles for the dirt. Bikes scare me, you're on your own Josh.

I've got one that might be for sale. It started life as a DRZ400S. It's momma wouldn't recognize it now!

Hey Mark, I'm up for a day trip any time, Carveacre would be cool, especially if we can go down to that little play ground area. Last time I was there I saw an old abandoned car on the backside of lawson peak, those are always fun to play with.
It would be awesome if we cauld do a local run some Sat afternoon.

I'm ready to go, I was thinking carvacre also. And I wanted to go down to the "playground" area to the left after pancake rock the last 2 times we've been out there, just to take another look around and change it up. Plus I haven't been down there to see what last years rains did to that side of the trail.

How about 10/9/05?, it's a Sunday.

Actually, I might not be able to make it on 10/9. We're thinking of going to jacumba again to do some shooting.

Is there anything worth doing in that area?
I think In-ko-pah is a couple of exits further from were we go shooting(jacumba exit).

I'm rearing to go. The only thing is that Sundays don't work for me. A Saturday afternoon (8th?) would really be best.
If Sunday is the only day yall wanna go, I might be able to get away the afternoon; not sure though.

Well I made it back to SoCal. Virginia Beach to Imperial Beach in 39 driving hours in the 4Runner. No problems at all. 22+ mpg.
Cannot do this sunday but next weekend would work. I could not believe it when my wife said that she would like to go with on a trail run. Shocked the heck out of me. Cool though!

This is their way of making sure that you're not running with any chicks on the trails... women are jealous by nature. Makes you just want to

I don't know about that. I think she really wants to check it out. Then again you may be right. I've never had anything to hide so why not.

I've never had anything to hide either... she just asks each time I roll with a group if there are any girls going. I know she trusts me, but women just inheritly have a green streak in them. They can't help it.

Is anyone up for a Carveacre run this Saturday, or Sunday (8th, 9th). Or do we want to wait 'till next weekend, the 15th or 16th?
I'm up for this Saturday but I know it might be too short notice for some. How 'bout you Mark? Rob?

If we go this week, it would have to be on Sun, and kinda later in the day. I could stop by there on my way back from Jacumba.
If not we can give it a week or two.
