So far, the count seems small. We have Myself, and My buddy, and the WATRD guy, and Jruz. Anyone else want to come up? I agree about the CV. What the worse that can happen, the axle breaks? Then we haul ya out and you drive 4x2.
DEVELOPMENT: MY godamm 87 Runner broke. The rear shackles gave out and bent sideways (ouch!) It was then that I discovered the truck had previously been wrecked, and the forward rear right spring perch had been compromised, and allowed the shackles to move over. Right now I am struggling to get the bolt out of the forward rear right spring. It is stuck or rusted, and excessive beatings with a hammer will not budge it. Looks like I may have to cut my springs off. Dammit!! I picked up a new set of Tera-flex revolver shackles. Anyone use these? Hopefully my truck will be ready with the new shackles, new rear springs, and an add-a-leaf. Better than stock heigth. If not, i may be forced to drive my '90, so everyone cross your fingers and wish me luck. Either way, i will be at Monroe KFC 830 AM. See ya there!

 

I still might go depending on if my other plan gets pushed to a later date. Will keep you posted.
