We should hit the same spot. Close, but not too close to the porta-potties.

I liked our area. It was a good distance from the RV crowd as well as the porta-potties.

This time, I"m gonna bring a fishing pole. Anyone up for some fishin' w/ me?

as for the campsite...

to all those who have been going to pismo for a while: does the crowd die down after labor day hits, when most are back in school and temp is on it's way down? and dies the sand highway come all the way down and hit the beach somewhere a little closer to the entrances?

i am completely content with camping at the same place again. i was just wondering that if it is less crowded in sept, what peoples' thoughts were on camping somewhere closer to the entrance and the shore. i don't know if it would be more convenient to be at the start of the sand highway, closer to the water, coser to the entrances.

it looks like eric and i will be up there on thursday night to secure a spot somewhere.

just wondering what evryone's thoughts were...

Since almost everybody knows the layout now and has 4wd, I would recommend you guys camp near sandhighway marker 17. It shelters you from the wind (it's the original place we were going to camp).

17 is the place in the valley and has the trees sheltering the area. Bathrooms are right there too.

I am all for the shelter from the wind. That was the only negative on the last trip. Was there a motorhome or trailer down by the trees and toilets by that marker last time? I remember seeing something down there and wondering how in the world they got in, and were going to get out.

Yup, that was the place. Then again, the trailer might still be there!

i was gonna have it installed tomorrow or wed, but i think i may have to wait...school starts today so i have about $400 -$500 in books, going to rosarito for labor day weekend, and a few other things (not to mention that s/c bill), have got my wallet pretty well tapped. i don't care what it takes, i'll have that thing blowin' before that weekend!
