um how about checking the local ohv parks? tehre are a good deal of them in CA

hollister and carnegie come to mind as being close.... carnegie pretty much sucks during the summer though... springtime there is best because there is a lot of water and mud, summertime its jsut dry..... tons of other legal places to wheel also.....

it's pretty simple, jimabena. see if you can manage to follow that advice and stay on topic. pm if you need to respond to that.

You guys are from Rancho Cucamonga, right? I used to live there. Anyway, me and my lady friend will be leaving San Diego in the AM. We're stopping at a resturant in Santa Barbara on the way. Maye meeting somewhere near the 10 and the 101? Just throwin' this out there.

I've never heard of a limit to how late you can enter the beach area, maybe there is a curfew on the campgrounds though.

Oh yeah, you said RAD ...

The entrance to the beach is always open, but the booth is only open until 11pm so you won't be able to get your permit when you get there. It's usually not a problem to just pick it up the next morning. Make sure that you have a reservation for the night you arive though. In the recent years they have implemented a pretty steep fine for camping without a permit.

Yes we are from Rancho Cucamonga. Like Tiki said, we will probably be departing around 9-10am. If anybody wants to convoy up, let us know. You can PM me if you want, i will give you my cell number so that you can contact me. I will also have CB and FRS. At this point i am not sure how many trucks will be in the convoy, but it will be Tiki's truck, my truck, probably one of my neighbors in a big white yota, possibly a guy from AZ, and maybe a few others. Our friend in the 05 Frontier Nismo is not attending, things fell through.

As for the route, im not sure what route we are going, i believe last time i went we took the I-5 up, but not sure. What route are you guys taking?

hey MorphiasX your best bet would take the 210 all the way to where it becomes the 101 (am i right on this?) we could meet somewhere around there, or have a bigger meeting up towards ventura, its about 2 hours from pismo. we could have a meeting of everybody from south of there. i know charles takes the 126 from santa clarita and we normally meet there. let me know if anybody wants to meet in orange county, or valencia. im pretty flexable on timing, as long as its in the morning

if you're gonna take the 210 from the east, you'd take that to the 134 to the 101. if i do decide to leave friday day rather than night, we could arrange some sort of caravan thing in ventura. we'll see.

yes, rad is right: 210 west, 134 west to the 101 up to pismo. i just did that same route 4th of july (and the previous 2 pismo jams)
