I was down to 6 and then thought I'd just make a *real quick* run back on the streets. Bad bad bad! I ALMOST popped a bead. Luckily I was able to jack up the truck and the bead popped back in.

 

i gotta air system and so does morphias for anyone who needs it for airing back up, im sure other as well have them, just putting it out there for however might need it, and now our racks are done on both of our trucks. woo hoo

 

Yup, just gotta get the canvas done, and the racks will be complete. The air system just needs a few more components (pressure valve, and a few relief valves) and it will be complete. Sliders need to be mounted and painted. A few lights need to be mounted and wired. All will be done for pismo though. But yeah, as for the air system, its test run will be Pismo.

Heres a link to some pictures of I and MorphiasX's trucks that will be making the trek to Pismo. Almost ready and complete, just a few more things to be fiddled with.

hey whats up im Daniel, im going to be rolling with Morphiasx (whats up steve) and am going to be spending the night on the 5th and 6th only and leaving probably mid-day on the 7th. are the 5th and 6th the only days i have to reserve?
im looking forward to meeting everyone. Is anyone else bringing bikes or quads?

 

Hey daniel... didnt expect you to come on here. Sorry i didnt give you a call back about the trip, been really busy and it kinda slipped my mind. We are cruising up to pismo on friday 5th, in the morning. Then depending on what time we arrive, we will hang out or do some wheeling. We are spending friday night on the beach. Saturday will be the actual "run" and then we will go back to the camp on the beach and spend saturday night. Sunday will most likely be a everybody does what they want, some will split to get a head start on the drive home, some will play on the dunes some more, some will sleep in and take their time packing up. So yes, just make your reservation (through reserve america, link posted earlier in this thread) for friday and saturday august 5th and 6th. Call me if you have anymore questions. Also, robert, aka Tiki_Yota on here, also the one with the cimi stack exhaust is debating taking his yamaha 250, at this point i dont know if he is or not. Also, there are a few other people on here that have mentioned taking their quads and bikes. And you should be fine in your truck, just air down low and lock the rear if you need to. If you happen to get stuck me or many other 4x4's will be there to pull you out.

And to yotatech, daniel is my buddy from school and he has a tacoma prerunner TRD (2003?) and he will be going up with Tiki and I.

 

sweet, anyway i have decided to leave the bike at home because i have no paddle tire at the moment and have no time/money to get one at the moment, so oh well.

I live in SF bay area and I cannot find any good trailers for 4 wheeling. where do you guys go for 4 wheeling here in the bay area ? It has to be public, not private properties. Please be as specific as possible, like the name of the streets, place, city so that I can locate the exact place on the map, thank you

What is "the pismo 4rj3" ? is this a special meeting for all 4runner owners ?

 

It means 4Runner Jamboree 3...or 3rd Annual Pismo 4Runner Jamboree. It is not restricted to 4Runners! We had Tacos, a Rodeo and even a Ranger out there. Its a blast and a good way to meet up and go have some fun!
