alright, time to let the cat out of the bag. i staged that stuck moment so some lucky guy would get to feel all special towing me out.
sorry, it was all a sham.

okay, you got me with another zinger. well it'd be a shame if you should happen to find your truck buried under 3 feet of sand one morning and only a certain 4runner around to tow you out haha

jk man, you know it's cool. i just gotta remember to mob them hills and then no more stucks for me

Last year my girlfriend and I went on a market run and when we came back found that there was no shore left. There were so many RVs parked so close that people were starting to build sand barriers to keep the water away from their stuff.

We ended up driving through different open areas of camp and through some of the ATV routes. No problems

The only place you need to know about for dinner is Firestone in San Luis. They have the best tri-tip sandwich (they've jacked the price to $7 but it's worth every penny). You might think it will get old eating that every night, but you're wrong. I was down there this past weekend and ate there every night and I still miss it. Should have done lunch and dinner there.

One of the reasons why i like driving up to Pismo is for Splash Cafe; Great Chowder! My gf and i hit that place twice in one day last time we were up there. :bounce2:

I'll hit up firestone next time for some tritip sandwiches.
anyone ever been to Mclintocks? I heard they have good steak and ribs.

hahah, yeah.. i'm just givin ya a hard time. in fact, props to you because you were more daring than the rest of us last time we were out there. as for the buried overnight thing.. i'm gonna be sleepin in my nice bed in san luis obispo.. that's an awful lot of sand to haul to my garage if you want to bury my truck :pat:

firestones is awesome.. lot of us college folk hang out there. if you're not down with the $7 tri-tip, they have some great burgers too for about $5 (and about 8 TVs in the bar all on sports games ) And McClintocks.. the best steak house in california, hands down. They can be a little pricey, but the meal comes with salad/potatoes, and a bunch of other extras. definitely a treat.

Mclintocks is cool for the atmosphere and everybody should go there once, but I've had better steaks (last night infact); it's good though. They don't take reservations so usually you have to wait around for an hour to get in but they do provide playing cards for your enjoyment. Personally, I like AJ Spurs better.

Woodstocks pizza, in slo has some pretty good pizza. Kona's, also in slo, has some really good sandwiches.

Does anybody know if Firestone's is owned by Andrew Firestone?

I think that would be even harder to pull off. It'll be like planning a wedding reception...

Prolly whatever, just go with the flow then. My friend is bringing his truck up. It is a stock '95 F-150(he will not be wheeling it). Mclintocks is a great restruant. I always hit it up when I am round Pismo.

Jason,
Do you have the ring already? We could bust out the spotlights and follow the ring from your pocket to your presentation. Give it as much bling as possible
