I think it would be best if dogs were on the leash because the greenies might see it running around disturbing the little birdies. You're not even supposed to fly kites.

Besides that, I wouldn't want my dog running around with all the vehicles blasting around. If my wife goes we'll bring our dog though.

Yes, everybody should bring firewood. Last year I was sorely disappointed with the lack of an outerspace visible bonfire. We need to put Texas A&M to shame. No pallets though, nothing with nails.

Art, I think your address is the correct one. Bob said his address might be the mailing address or something.

Yeah!!!

I got my reservation, and I will start looking around for fire wood.

Now I just need to hope I get that weekend off.

I will more than likely be bringing the dog and the wife.

Sounds like its convoy time from san diego...

it's camping right on the beach.

last year, hardly anyone went in the water, at least not from our group. it was mostly young kids in there. people said the water is nasty. and besides, the waves were nothing to write home about. i just checked the surf report for pismo beach, and it's at 3-4 ft.

maybe things will be different this year

yeah it'll be cold. i might bring a bodyboard, at least i'll have the option that way.
and it can always be used between the tires to block the wind of a tent on the opposite side.

Mikey, I'll be bringing my little yak regardless, to surf and fish. The farthest north Ive been is Santa Barbara. If its anything like Santa Barbara there might be some tarballs but thats no big deal. Unfortunately I'm used to the natsyness.
(except for those ear infections)

In terms of water temp I got everthing up to a drysuit, so Im good to go.
We'll be having fun driving around too, so Im not really worried about surf conditions.

Maybe its just me, but I wouldn't be able to camp on the beach and not go in the water. :beach:
