Not to be a total PITA but now again it looks like I'm gonna be there at least for Saturday and Sunday. Just need to scrape a little gas money together (PayPal donations to toy283@mho.net gladly accepted ) to be able to drive as opposed to riding. Sorry to hear Redcone's been cancelled but I'll figure something out.

Dave,
You just get there and we'll work some people into taking on "the cone".

Scott,
I know I replied earlier about Antero for Sunday, but I've got to to agree with Dave on this one. Besides, knuckle marks on the passenger dash add charachter!

I'll be getting back home from "Cheese Land" Tuesday night, so I'm hoping to have the schedule updated that night or Wednesday morning.

I'm afraid I'm gonna have to cancel.

My back is giving me troubles again and I don't think I'll be healthy enough to make the trip without risking re-injuring it. I was really looking forward to it, but maybe next time...

Scott and/or Mike, do you need an email from me or anything?

No, this is fine. I'll refund your PayPal money. We'll miss you, (and we were looking forward to meeting your wife), but you're making the right decision to take care of yourself.

You guys could certainly lead a small group on the "Cone". I'm a pretty easy goin' guy. It'a all about having fun. But, it definitely won't work for my family on Sunday. If I were a single guy again I would add the SOB Rock Garden after Radical Hill and really turn into a intense day. Some cruiser friends of mine did that whole run last weekend and had a blast.

Hey guys, I was up Homestake Road this weekend (the road that leads to Holy Cross) and it was more wash-boarded than I've ever seen it. You'll want to stop as soon as you get off the highway and air down. I didn't because I was just going for a hike and I thought I was going to loose a filling before I got to the trailhead. Just wanted to pass that along.

Need people to take a dive for Chinamen's?

Who from ORS is coming and can I stay with Hunt and follow him on that Whale thing?

If I make it, the beer will have to be helocoptered in.

Jayson, sorry you aren't going to make it. Backs suck and riding a long time is a good way to put it all the way out. Rest it up and we will catch you further down the trail.

Your still in? I hope so, I have been looking forward to seeing the big red beast in action! I want to see you climb that "whale thing" behind Hunt too

I think I'm going to opt out now as well. I'm sorry, I was planning on caravanning up with Loosehead and I'm not sure I can make it now. I'm still considering coming up Saturday and running the Wheeler Lake on Sunday, but that won't put me home until late Sunday.

I think I'll work on installing my new hubs this weekend. Too bad nobody sells manual hibs for my GMC. Wish I had half the aftermarket the Yotas have...

Excellent Mark! It could take you about 2-2 1/2 hours to get to the meeting place at Chalk Creek Campground, you will need to leave early.

If your late you can catch up to us on hwy 285 north. Channel 4 or 8. (note: Jeff the Marmot will be leading that run).

Sunday easier trail options include a spectacular run that Brian and Heather (Jake94)
will be leading. Tincup, Taylor and American Flag Mtn, or some combination of the three.

Or, you could watch the Off-Road Solutions guys tackling Carnage Canyon. I've always wanted to watch those guys go up there. The trail starts right at the trailhead to Chinamans. You can walk right up the trail. And it's extreme!

Yeah, somebody has to represent the green chili folks.

On another note, I kinda finished the front bumper. I have braced the snot out of it, and it should hold up pretty well. No paint on it, as I just don't have the time. Tomorrow I'm fixing the rock lights and my turn signal lights.

Thursday morning, early correct....

Hey guy's I was thinking of going for the weekend but i really have to do somework on the house that I am moving into so i can get away from my cheating wife(the b....). Wanted to bring my 4yo son also but that won't work out either.
However I am thinking of going on the wheeler run on Sun, If i leave my house around 5am i should be there in plenty of time to meet and greet before the run. I just can't pass up the opurtunity to meet as many of you as I can. I would have like to done more but i think my truck won't hold up to much, an the runner is still not running yet.
Let me know if i should leave earlier or later.

5am from Parker should put you there before the 8:15 meeting at camp. Leave at 8:30. Again you will see the caravan on hwy 285, in your case going the oppisite direction. Mike Brown will be leading Wheeler on Sunday - Channel4.
