Gosh, I'm behind the dogs in the pecking order! I signed up for Wheeler on Saturday and Antero on Sunday. Paypaled my camp money too. Looking forward to hang with some Yota guys again.

That's too bad Dave. There will be open seats if you can still make it out.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

I talked to the campground yesterday. Their check-in time is 1 PM, and their check-out time is 11 AM.

They said, for those that plan to do trail runs on Sunday, but not spend the night Sunday night, it's okay if you return to camp to depart in the late afternoon/early evening. In other words, you don't have to worry about checking-out at 11 AM on Sunday to avoid being charged for an extra night. The lady said, as long as we have some folks staying overnight in the group site Sunday (which we will), they aren't going to care. I imagine the same will hold true for the other nights as well.

We will be meeting each morning for the trail runs in the parking lot at the campground entrance at 8:15, with the intention of departing at 8:30. We plan to go directly to the trails, so come prepared with adequate gasoline and food for the day.

This is the final sticker design. The sticker will be printed on UV resistant adhesive back vinyl. (like the year before last). It will be die cut - meaning the sticker will be cut around the exact edge of the image - like above image.
Final Size is approx. 6" x 3"
Price is: $5.00 - payable in cash at the Jam.

Orders need to be in by Thurs. AUG 12th - I will only print the amount ordered (plus 2 or 3 for people not on the forum)

To Order a sticker - email or PM me to say you want one

Here is the list of orders I received so far - if your not on the list but should be - let me know - or if your on it and don't want to be -let me know.

Thanks,
John

Somehow I dropped the trail leader designations on the signup sheet. Scott and I have them on a spreadsheet, though.

I'm out of town, but I think the leaders are as follows:

Friday:
Hancock - Doug & Darcie Carter
Holy Cross - Adrian Flygt

Saturday:
Wheeler Lake - Jeff Bathke
Chinaman's - Scott Yoder

Sunday
Mount Antero - Jeff Bathke
Wheeler - Mike Brown
Red Cone - Scott Yoder

I need to update the page. I just noticed Ziad is shown as Wheeler on Saturday; I actually think he signed up for Chinaman's.

I hope that's not the case Adrian. I can't believe I'm hearing your still having problems with your rig.

Those are the leaders Mike. I have updated our spreadsheet with Ziad and others. We just need to update the main link. I don't think Doug and Darcie know there leading Hancock, but they said they would earlier.

Were up to 10-12 per run on the popular trails (HC, WL and Chinamans). Were down to 3 for Red Cone\Radical on Sunday.

That would be OK with me. Just over a week ago I finally got the official OK to take that Friday off work despite my 3 vacation requests for that day off.

Adrian, I hope you can make it to CO4RJ.

Hey Mike,

Are you bringing the wife and kids?

I think only Elyse will be with me. Michelle (she's a teacher) and Noah both start school next week.

Yeah, we're all coming. I assumed you'd be alone, and Hannah was really disappointed. That's great to hear Elyse is coming!

Don't know, and they don't know either. I've been out with them before, and I'd guess they'll have between 15 and 25 vehicles.

They're leaving from the Springs at 8:00, so I estimate we'll beat them to the trial by an hour (or half hour). I contacted their trail leader, and the plan is we'll wait for them at the lake (the end of the trail) and not head back down ourselves until they've all made it up.

Update:

Mike and I are finalizing the run schedule and will post it soon.

I'm taking Red Cone off the schedule on Sunday. It was down to Cajun and myself. Two people would be no fun. Plus, as it works out, that will be the one day my whole family will be riding with me. And I believe I would scare them to death on the top of that mountain. So I will be running Antero with the Marmot leading on Sunday.

Also, we will have the Off-Road Solutions group joining us again this year with 8 rigs for Sat. and Sunday. They will be in a second group behind us on Chinamans (Sat.) and then they will be running Carnage on Sunday. That's the hard core run near the trailhead of Chinamans. That would be fun to watch.

I will take volunteers to swap our early Sat. Chinamns run with their later run. I will also ask a few of them to run with our early group. This way we can run with each other. I want video of Caskey climbing over whale rock this year!
