moab anyone?

well i'm still out here in colorado and i'm fixing to leave back to california on saturday. on the way back i figured i'd take a little detour off the 70 and stop at moab, utah. i hadn't even thought of that before i left, but since it's so close, why not?

so...anyone interested in coming along? i'm going either way, but thought it would be fun to meet some of you. i'm thinking i'll be taking it pretty easy as i do want to be able to make it back home. (though i do think it would be real neat to conquer lion's back but not sure if i must have a locker or not)

Not to discourage you, but it will be hot!

I drained 2 gallons of water in one day on the trail over Memorial Day, I can't imagine another month to get hotter.

Moab is awesome, a must see for sure.

Be careful if you hit trails by yourself, it is best to have some friends. That being said, I wish I could come, but work is in New Mexico for a couple more weeks.

Hey Cal,

Moab is a blast. Slickrock is right up the road from Lion's Back, I've been biking there a few times. If you do Lion's back, be careful! I saw some pics a while back of a 4-runner that took a dive off the edge.
