Thanks - I am using a Minolta DiMage S304 which is a 3.4 mp digital camera. (A lot of my photos are edited in the digital darkroom)

I have never kayaked from San Felipe but I imagine it would be pretty good if the wind is minimal, and the tide is in. When the tide goes out, you will have a loooong walk to get to the water The area around San Felipe is pretty much silt bed from the Colorado river delta, so the coastal beaches are fairly shallow with a sand bottom around there. The great thing about kayaking on the Cortez coast is that it is often very calm water.
