Ric-
My trip to Colorado has been canceled due to pain in my lower back and hip. I'll be at the Chiropractor tomorrow and am planning on heading down to the Park on Saturday for the Grand opening.
I'm hooking up with my Jeep friends in southern OP and heading down around 7:30.
Are you interested in joining us?

Whoa. Very sorry to hear that, Randy. I know you were looking forward to the trip out, too. But, I guess I don't blame you: hiking the Crestones with a sore back and hip wouldn't interest me either in the least! Actually, with a good back and hip those two don't interest me, especially Mr. Needle!
I was looking forward to seeing some of your pictures though. Get well soon.
Regards,
Darren

That works for me. We will be on channel 10 for the drive down and I have no idea what channel we will be on once we are driving around in the park.
I'll probably head back to the parking lot around noon to eat some lunch.
I'm really looking forward to meeting you all.

walkie talkies are on a different frequency. But if you plan on arriving around 10:00 I would imagine I'll still be hanging around the parking lot.
I'll probably be looking to hook up with the "beginner" trail leader in the morning and then follow that up with checking out some of the mederate stuff in the afternoon (depending on the weather).
I'm anticipating the trails to be fairly tight since they are new.
I just checked the weather and it looks like it could rain all day!
It should make things real fun.

Well it is 6:00 on Saturday and I just got home. Sorry I missed you guys. If you made it out then you understand when I say we spent alot of time pulling people out of bad situations.
I'll post my report after I get the pics.
Hope you all had fun.
