I'm back!! ... everyone is still coming right? I just ordered a few more goodies .. hopefully I will get them installed in time.

oh rob- I can't find the thread .. but yeah you can run around with a broken CV joint for a little while (I did) the fluid leaks out all over the place, then you here a clicking noise, then you hear a loud clanking noise when you turn. but I'm sure you already got it fixed. no excuses .. you have to wheel.

alright back to sleep ...

My '02 Grand Cherokee has seen 3 trips to the Badlands, too. But I'm stuck in TX for a few more weeks... wish I could go again this time with ya'll. Let's plan a trip in early Sept.

My group of 2-3 vehicles is still on. We're now staying at the Apple Inn, a few blocks north of the Badlands. We are checking in Friday night, so that we can cut up in line Sat morning. I've been hearing that the place will be booked that weekend, so I think you should be there well before 9am (maybe 8?), if you have to wait in line to get passes.

I saw we meet at the McD's at 8 in the am.

if we are to meet at Mcdonalds, I think we should meet at 7:45, so we can get to the line by 8. Cuz I seriously do not feel like waiting in line for my first time on the trail.

Unhappy Incognito...

Well guys, I apologize for not letting you know sooner, but I'll be unable to attend this weekend. I'm sure you'll all have a blast nonetheless. I look forward to the pics. Someone will have to take a hit to the rocker or fender for me.

BTW, I got mine repaired, so she looks good as new now... well, almost. Now I need to get some sliders.

Cheers,
Joel
