The Maryland Mudbugs 4x4 Club had this posted on their website.

Sometimes those mountain creeks are deeper than they look. I was fishing a creek near Reddish Knob that was so clear, it didn't look like it was more than a couple inches deep. I walked in up to my thighs and could still see the bottom as if there was no water there at all.

It's the George Washington National Forest near the Virginia and West Virginia border.

Well Heck! I just drove through there the other day on the way back from the Outer Banks. Beautiful area indeed, I'll have to make it back there sometime. Are there wheeling and camping trails?

There's plenty of camping out there. The only wheeling area I know of is near Harrisonburg.

I go camping and hunting out there frequently during the fall and winter.

That pic was taken at a hole on what I've always heard called the loop trails. There are a bunch of pics on my site from the loop trails when I was there last summer. There certainly are some deep holes in there if you're not careful. A few people were playing in one particular hole last summer where the water was up over the hood.
