Question Info on Big South Fork

Has anybody here been to the Big south fork national park? Its pretty close to my college and I've considered planning a trip to go up there for a few days, but I couldn't get much info on it. I think I have to get something to camp overnight, but that shouldnt be hard. And their site says that 4x4s are an acceptable mode of transportation inside the park, so I'm assuming that theres trails...thats what I've been told. I guess it might be similar to cedars of lebanon, but we can't wheel there anymore since they closed it to 4x4s. If anybody's every been there, I'd like to know how it is, for camping wheeling.

This looks interesting...

Apparently so...

This looks pretty cool and pretty moderate. I think my truck could handle this. The wide river crossing is the only thing that concerns me a bit. It sounds like there is quite a bit more 4x4ing to do there as well.

Any others with info?

My wife and I are taking a road trip in a few weeks that may take us through TN. I'm adding this to the list of potential places to visit.

Wow, that looks awesome, I would definatley want to take somebody a little bigger incase I needed to be pulled accross the river. I'd try to go after a dry spell. I wonder if theres ways around some of the deeper parts of the river. I'm def. planning a trip up there now.

My wife and I went down to TN for our 2nd Anniversary last weekend. Here's a teaser shot of the fun we had at the Big South Fork NRA. We rode the abandoned Oneida & Western rail line. I didn't need anyone bigger than me to pull me out. The water was pretty low (but not so low the water crossings weren't fun!) and the mud didn't bog me down at all. Lots of fun exploring.
