How to get to Big Bear's easier trails???
I'm going to Snow Summit in big bear tomorrow, Wednesday Dec 21 and I was wondering if anybody knew the directions to get to any of the easier trails in Big Bear. I just want to check out some trails while I'm there snowboarding!!! Thanks??

Go to the Discovery Center on the north side of the lake. They have several good maps of the area that are designed for offroad (dirt road) travel. Some include trail ratings and descriptions. Have fun!!

This will help...
Don't know which direction you will be coming in from but here is a nice backcountry drive From Crab flats to Big Pine then onto Fawnskin or Big Bear. You can do the trip in reverse if you are coming in from the top also.
