How to access the easy, backroad at Evans Creek?

How to access the easy, backroad at Evans Creek?
Guys,
We've got some friends in from out of town, and we'd like to take them up for the Mt Rainier view at the nice clearing at the end of the Evans Creek run. I know there is a very easy backroad that we used to leave from there last time I went up, but I am not sure I could find it now, as it has been several years. What is that road, and how do I access it?
