when i went through the mud pit i believe i was in 4hi w/the vsc turned off and 2nd gear.

Just a little useless info, after washing some mud off at Hollister, and then taking about 3hours with a hose to spray the mud off and then washing it I ended up with scoping up 3 2gallon buckets of mud from the driveway and then spraying the rest off the driveway. So the poor Runner was probably carrying at least 12 gallons of mud. It was a pain to get it off the the stock wheels and the frame.

I will have to sort out the exhaust as it is still bent downwards a bit.

WIll hopefully post an edited video soon. Just waiting for it to finish rendering, need more CPU HP now. The PIII 866 is no good for video.

Did you stick a hose up under the rear plastic bumper? There is a ton of mud always hidden up under there.

I was impressed with how your truck handled the obstacles too bulldog-yota! good vids too!

there is also a ton of mud that will probably have gotten stuck in the 2 cups along the bottom of your front bumper on each side. oh ... and on the skid plates!!

I was in and under everywhere, bumpers, skidplates, wheels, spare, etc. What took so long was that the mud just stuck to the Runner and I had to wiggle it out with my hand in places. AT least I think I got all of it out, the front and rear bumpers acted like mud scoops on the inside bottom.

Bliksem loves attention and he is very curious, even wants to check out trucks spinning in the mud. I think he just wanted to get a mud bath

Thought you had a lift already.

Revtek lifts seem to be the rave for the 4th Gen's here. It will give you more lift than the Daystar and you can get a extra spacer for the front from Billy. That's what ahriman's got.

I'm happy with my lift and tires, just need some driving lesson's. But if you need more the setup ahriman has looks pretty bad@ss and works really well. You will however need to do some trimming. I didn't want to do that so I went for a milder setup.

No, I meant to do it but got busy. I really like Lefty's (daystar) from way back in the day when XREAS was "impossible" to lift. 2.5 looks perfect to me.
Yeah, maybe if I make it out to Pismo I can check everyone's rigs out and be inspired to tackle a little backyard wrenching...

Edited videos

OK here are the videos, right click and save as before playing.
They both are the same, one is just lower quality and smaller.

Video for bandwidth starved people (WIndows Media 7MB)

Video for the bandwidth rich (MPEG 50MB)
